Having lost great aunts and uncles in the Holocaust I felt the importance of wanting to understand just what happened during that period of World War 2. Nobody could have done a better job than Josh at explaining and showing everyone just what occurred. His conveyance BROUGHT TEARS to my eyes toward the end of the tour. It was truly an UNFORGETTABLE TOUR! Without a doubt , I’d refer others to take his tour. I just want to comment that he gave plenty of opportunities to take pictures and he always indicated when those moments were!!

My wife and I joined 24 others on a walking tour around sites of central Munich which had some significance in the rise of the Nazis in the 30’s until the liberation of the city in ‘45. Our guide, Josh, explained the history of anti-semitism in not just Germany, and made it clear that it wasn’t just about one man. He used a folder of photographs of key players and events to present an extraordinarily powerful narrative of how a completely false ideology brainwashed an entire nation into sleepwalking into totalitarianism. Some bits were upsetting because of the nature of the facts but some things need to be heard. Josh finished by warning that the roots of totalitarianism are in scapegoating and populism - something we should never forget. A very informative tour of an important part of WW2 history. JOSH was such an enthusiastic and a passionate tour guide. He considered everyones needs and even made a stop for us when he was not supposed to, to get warm and use the toilets . The tour given to us by Tour Guide Josh was an incredible alternate perspective into the dark history related to World War 2. You will almost definitely learn about new things which you wouldn’t be able to from generic war documentaries and moreover Josh is able to give the perspective from an ordinary German citizen since he is also natively German.
